Mobile Revenue Lab
A critique-led path through revenue analytics for mobile apps — built for teams who ship subscriptions, trials, or hybrid ads-plus-IAP models.
Learning outcomes
- Define LTV with constraints State fee models, refund windows, and cohort cuts before quoting a number.
- Read paywall funnels honestly Separate first-time exposure from returning users and region mixes.
- Design experiment readouts Present lift with sample warnings instead of single glowing percentages.
- Brief stakeholders Deliver a one-page narrative that finance and product can both annotate.
Modules

Retention and revenue curves from exports; timezone and attribution traps.

FAQ
Do I need SQL?
Comfortable spreadsheet skills are enough. Optional SQL snippets appear later; they are never the only path to a passing critique.
Can we use private company data?
Yes when your legal team approves. Otherwise we provide synthetic packs that mimic noisy store exports.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not certify vendor tool certifications, and we cannot fix broken attribution pipelines inside your MMP during the eight weeks. Teams with severely incomplete event logging often need an engineering sprint before the paywall module feels fair.
Are refunds possible?
See our Refund policy for eligibility windows and non-refundable items.
Reviews from this course
Week six’s experiment readout saved us from declaring victory on a paywall that only moved whales in one country.
Dense in a good way. I wanted more time on ad-mediated hybrid models; the materials skim that compared to pure subscription drills.
